Now, Cain had always been a multitude of things.[break]

‘Asshole’ wasn’t necessarily synonymous with ‘heartless,’ though— and in light of that, as well as some minor prying and nudging from the younger Pokemon on his team, he’d thrown the metaphorical towel in and purchased a ticket for entry to the selfsame safari zone he’d passed by numerous times in the past. Honestly speaking, he personally had little to no interest in visiting a place like it, but again— it hadn’t exactly been his choice.[break][break]

And so, with a familiar look of tiredness upon his face, he breathed a sigh while beginning to walk along, all while the very same creatures that persuaded him into visiting had already begun to flutter and frolic about, constantly darting to and fro in curious observance.

Much to his chagrin, of course— but by that point in time, he knew better than to rant and try to persuade them out of what they wanted. Just like children took after their parents, Pokemon were often want to Grookey see, Grookey do, and it was exactly because of that, that he’d known he’d be met with a similar sort of rambunctious persistence by showing them denial.[break][break]

So, with a soft sigh, he’d only given them and their new, fledgling friend a quick glance before tossing one of the capsules he’d been given upon entry and continuing along.[break][break]

Hues of amber narrowed as he watched them for a few moments, but before long, he found himself glancing down towards the selfsame Safari Balls he was given.[break][break]

They weren’t prying as much as they were with the first fledgling.[break]
